Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 - Updated PC specs and new characters

The long-awaited Fortnite chapter 2 season 7 is finally here, and it's bringing major visual upgrades to the pc version. You can now enjoy the same graphics quality that came into the Xbox series X and the PS5. Besides, the new battle pass is getting some serious star power. Players will get customizable aliens to match the season's theme and Superman and Rick Sanchez from Adult Swim.
If you set your graphic options to high, you will get the same visuals as the Epic settings in the previous seasons. Those who will switch to Epic will get even better settings. Some of the improved visuals include:
- Storm effects
- explosions
- Fire
- Slurp effects
Players on the highest graphic setting will enjoy better processing effects. This new setting comes with lightning features such as lens flare, shadows, and bloom. Most of these effects were already introduced to the next-gen consoles, and now they have been revealed to the pc.
Now the PC epic effects are at par with the Xbox X series and the Ps5. Of course, Pc started supporting ray tracing in September 2020.
The new Upgrades on the Epic setting will require a much more powerful PC. Since the current high quality will be the same as the old Epic, the specs will also increase. However, players with medium and low-end PCs will not be affected in terms of performance or visuals. Here are the new hardware specifications for Fortnite chapter 2, season 7.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 new battle pass characters
Are you a Rick and Morty Fan? This is your chance to enjoy playing with Rick Sanchez alongside Superman alongside customizable aliens. Unfortunately, Morty is not included in the battle pass. We can only hope Epic will bring the other half (Morty) from Adult swim Later in the season.
So far, the DC universe has had many characters featured in the game. This time they have featured Man of steel for the first time. Like in the previous seasons, you can unlock the new skins by advancing the progress of the battle pass and completing challenges.
This time players will earn Battle stars instead of XP. They can use the battle pass stars to unlock rewards in any order. This is different from the previous passes that only unlocked rewards in a linear order.
Final Thoughts
Fortnite Chapter 2 season 7 has come in with a lot of exciting things. The Pc gamers can now enjoy equal graphics to the Next-Gen consoles. However, they will need a more powerful computer to enjoy the new Epic visuals. New characters from Adult swim and DC have also been added.
