This open-ended country-life RPG has a very simple storyline. You have inherited a piece of land in the valley from your grandfather to begin a new life. 1. You can turn your children into doves

Many fans do not know that they can dismiss their children. Stardew comes with a secret dark shrine of selfishness that allows you to dismiss children in the witch's hut. Once you offer a prismatic shard in the shrine, the children will turn into doves and leave the farm forever.

If you prefer to live life as it were before your children come in, then this the chance to get rid of them. However, if they are the bundle of your joy, you need to keep away from this shrine. Once the children turn into doves, they will fly away forever. This change is irreversible.

2. You can allow corporations to take over your farm

You will face many obstacles as you take care of your farm. But do not sign any contracts with the corporations. Stardew has a secret of large-scale capitalism. Cooperation such as Jojomart will make your life hard. Many players do not know that you can allow corporations to take over your farm. Be careful as you sign those memberships.

4. Kent has PTSD

Pelican Town is full of different types of people. Kent is a villager with a very painful secret that only the attentive gamers know about. He used to serve in the army but returned after one year, and now he lives an ordinary life as a village. Kent has a wife, Jodi, and two sons, Sam and Vincent.
Kent has PTSD, which is heavily implied by his actions. For example, he dislikes open fields and has difficulties sleeping. Besides, he mentioned a prison camp in the past, and he gets agitated by the popcorns during his event.

5. Pierre has a mysterious secret stash hiding

Pierre is a shopkeeper at his local store in Pelican town. He sells seeds and also buys farm produce. Pierre has a wife, Caroline, and one daughter Abigail. However, he has a secret stash hiding in his bedroom that he doesn't want anything to know about it. Stardew fans have been speculating about what he is hiding. Some say that he is hiding some cash or drugs, but it could be anything. The closest speculation of Pierre's mysterious secret stash is opera music. This is because he admitted to singing opera sometimes when he is alone in the store. He is embarrassed about this and doesn't want anybody to know.

Final Thoughts

Stardew comes with a lot of secrets that gamers have to discover on their own. Some secrets are very dark as they allow you to make tough decisions, such as turning your kids into doves or erasing your ex's memories. The secrets are great for the game because they make it more interactive and fun.
